Last night we went to see Mafioso (1962, dir. Alberto Lattuada), part of the Rialto series of older films being gussied up and re-released now.
AFI is doing a series of recently reissued Rialto pictures now. FF Coppola liked the film Mafioso a lot, and in it I see maybe where he got the idea for the Sicily scenes in the Godfather, a movie I love. A ( Read more... )
